When I was a teenager, I already taught trumpet, violin, piano, guitar, and singing at a local music school. My mantra throughout my 20’s was “I can teach anyone anything”.

I love learning and creativity. My dedication to music has always served my passion and curiosity. I give that gift back, creating nurturing spaces where people connect transform beyond their wildest dreams, and courageously step into their calling.

All learning is self-teaching. Though I am a guide, the learning happens from your motivation, curiosity, and desire for intimacy with the process of music.

My heart-centered expertise deeply enriches my students artistry. Whether you’re a pro looking for candor and a fresh perspective, a seasoned artist making a creative pivot, a total beginner, or a youngster looking for a nurturing gateway to music — my methods are rooted in tradition, idiosyncratic, and psychoactive. Awaken into new levels of understanding, joy, and creative empowerment.

  • My default teaching rate is $135/hr

    Trying out an hour! There’s plenty to do.

  • My rate decreases as folks sign up for blocks of more lessons. Think you’ll want weekly or bi-weekly lessons for a few months? Great!

  • If we like working together — if you’re passionate, dedicated, looking to transform your practice, I have a limited amount of slots held for regular weekly students. We’ll pay for a few months at a time, and communicate up front about weeks either of us will miss. Lessons here are $100 — less administrative work, scheduling, and we get a long-term container to develop our multi-faceted creative relationship.

  • For a long time, I offered lessons on a sliding scale / pay what you can. I love teaching and need to preserve my energy for my diverse interests.

    Students are routinely surprised at how much they can learn in 20 minutes. No frills. No fuss. Accessible deep lessons, at a fraction of the cost.
