Recording with Nate

Since 2021 I have engineered, produced, and played on recordings @ Inner&outer music. I’ve recorded live @ Soirees, on retreats, and make a few studio EP’s and LP’s as well. I’m growing in my craft and would be delighted to talk to you about bring your music to life — and your living music to recorded format.

  • 30 minutes to talk about your vision, what you think we need to get there. I have some standard logistical and creative questions that we’ll go over.

    I’ll design a proposal for you. Artists often prefer to record a single together to get a flavor for working together first.

  • My standard rate to produce, engineer, and mix a song $800.

    If we do a long er project, we’ll often record more songs than get released. Depending on how prepared we are, as well as the intensity of the project, we can negotiate the rate to make it affordable.

Personal Planets debut EP got recorded live at the end of 2023, and was released in summer 2024. Here’s a music video for Windows Open. I love live recording, and have done a handful of other concerts — from Songbuilders’ Soirees, to Free Jazz, to capturing the work of students at my Contemplative Songwriting Retreats.
