The experience of listening back to your music, professionally recorded, can feel like a dream come true. The path to getting there is non-linear, taking great care, daring, and patience. It’s a place where deep listening, experimental choices, and patient, deliberate creation pay off.

Sessions most often take place in my studio in Medford, MA. I sometimes will record off-site — most often for live performances. Multiple-day “retreat” stays can be booked for a getaway in Rumney, NH.

For full bands, I offer a standard rate of $800 per song, which includes:

—> Thoughtful Pre-production sessions: envisioning & refinement songwriting & arrangements; performance coaching
—> “Actually Recording” || record together, I press the buttons and set up the mics
—> Mixing: I’ll put my all into editing (time correcting, comping) and making creative choices so the work shines.

I charge per project to get us “off the clock” — so we can give all the attention needed, and feel invited to non-linear sense of creating.

For simpler projects — live shows, solo artists (where I will be tracking several instruments) — as well as simply tracking as a studio musician, I work on an hourly or per project basis. Reach to see if we might be a good fit!
